Saint Constantine and Helena church
Saint Constantine and Helena church was built and fresco painted in 1477. According to an inscription, Saint Constantine and Helena church was built by the hieromonk Parthenius. A portrait of the builder holding a model of the church in his hands is stationed above the inscription. The model is a perfect replica of the church. Also, there are portraits of his mother and his son, as well as his deceased father.
In respect of architecture, Saint Constantine and Helena church is a one-naval with a semi-circled vault ending with a dome. The eastern side ends with a three-sided altar apse. In a later stage a small chapel and porch were adjoined to the church.
The interior of Saint Constantine and Helena church contains numerous compositions. Most distinctive is the scene of "Annunciation" in the second section of the altar apse. The best preserved composition is "The Transfiguration of Christ".
